Eliška Sláviková graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, Prague in International Territorial Studies and from the Faculty o Philosophy at Comenius University, Bratislava in Slovak and German linguistics. She carried out a 3-month research in the Western Balkans politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as British Chevening Scholar. Since January 2009 she has been working as a consultant and project manager based in Kosovo and cooperates as a research fellow with EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy. From June 2010 throughout March 2011 she worked as a Political Affairs Officer at the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), in the SRSG´s Office of Political Affairs. Throughout 2008 she was research fellow of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association and from September 2002 till December 2007 she was managing the Democratization and Human Rights Programme of People in Peril Association ? a Slovak humanitarian and development organization.
